Please be advised that Danske Bank's business centres in Tartu, Pärnu and Jõhvi will be closed from 22 December 2018. Clients will still be able to perform the majority of transactions via the bank’s e-channels using their digital signature, without any need to come in to a bank branch.
Clients will continue to be served at the bank’s head office at Narva mnt 11 in Tallinn.
Should the service which a client wishes to use still require them to meet with a representative of the bank in Tartu, Pärnu or Jõhvi – for example, to perform a notary’s transaction – this will still be possible. In such a case, simply arrange the meeting in advance by calling the customer information on 6 800 800 or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Danske Bank will henceforth be focussing on serving corporate clients from the Nordic countries and international corporations in the Baltic States. As a consequence of this strategy, we will gradually be terminating relationships with local private and business clients.
We recommend that local clients choose a new partner for their everyday banking. Clients who have entered into a loan agreement with the bank should be aware that such agreements will remain valid on the existing terms and conditions. Clients may transfer their everyday settlements to another bank – all they need to ensure is that their settlement account in Danske Bank has sufficient funds on the relevant dates for the debiting of their loan repayments.
The bank always notifies its clients of changes to services and their terms and conditions well in advance. To this end we send a letter to the client’s e-mail address and also send them a message via the Internet Bank. Please call our customer information on 6 800 800 (8:30-17:30 Mon-Fri) or your relationship manager, or visit our website www.danskebank.ee if you have any questions.
